Arlie W. Evans, 75, of River Rd., died Saturday afternoon, November 2, 2019 at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, NY.
Born on November 21, 1943 at White County Hospital, Searcy, Arkansas, he was a son of the late Archie W. and Nellie G. Corbitt Evans and he attended school in Searcy, AR.
Arlie enlisted into the US Army on December 28, 1961 and was honorably discharged January 6, 1965.
After his military service, he drove a delivery truck for Wonder Bread in Arkansas. He moved to NY in 2008 and was a vendor at various Flea Markets in the area for the past 15 years.
Arlie was a member of the American Legion in Arkansas.
Survivors include his companion of 19 years, Kathy Frizzell; three daughters, Leslie Fullerton, AR, Vicki McEnery, Mansfield, TX and Mitzi Green, Cedar Hill, TX; Kathy's children, Joseph and Clara Frizzell, Redwood, NY, Michael and Samantha Frizzell, Hammond, NY and Tara and Donald Backus, Redwood, NY; a sister, Rose Evans, Hebron, KY; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Richard Evans, David and Athena Evans, all of Hot Springs, AR; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; Kathy's 3 grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life Service will be at a later date.
