Shane R. Cole, 31, formerly of the Clayton-LaFargeville area, died Friday, July 6, 2018.
Born on May 4, 1987 in Watertown, NY, he was a son of David R. Cole and Cindy L. Countryman. He attended LaFargeville Central school.
Shane worked for Elite Painting, Philadelphia, NY, for a time. He also worked for various local construction companies.
He was a collector of hats, an avid sports fan and always remained loyal to his beloved NY Giants.
Survivors include a daughter, Alayna Grant, age 9, Brownville, NY; his father and step-mother, David and Sandy Cole, LaFargeville, NY; his step-father, Joe Hirschler, LaFargeville, NY; four siblings, a brother, Steven Cole, LaFargeville, NY, a sister Kasey Stevens and husband, Chad, Philadelphia, NY, a sister, Kendra Bresett and husband, Chris, LaFargeville, NY, a brother, Garrett Cole, LaFargeville, NY; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
His mother, Cindy L. Hirschler, and maternal grandparents, Eugene “Silver” and Gloria Robinson Countryman all died previously.
A Memorial Service will be 1 pm Friday, July 13, 2018 at the Thousand Island Christian Church, 26631 Simpson Rd., Plessis, NY 13675, with Rev. Gene Brown, officiating.
Arrangements are with Frederick Bros. Funeral Home, Theresa, NY.
