Duane M. "Bug" June, 45, of South Hammond Rd., passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at home while under the care of his family and Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley.
Born on April 19, 1972 in Gouverneur, NY, he was a son of Duane G. and Trudy J. Daniels June. He graduated from Hammond Central School in 1992.
Duane was owner and operator of DJ's Construction, Hammond, NY, since graduating from school and his father worked along with him for many years.
He enjoyed hunting, ice fishing, fishing, trapping, dancing and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his parents, Duane G. and Trudy June; his companion, Ami Preston, Ogdensburg and Hammond, NY; three daughters, Paige June, age 19, Redwood, NY, Katarina June, age 15, Hammond, NY, Summer Lynn June, age 9, Hammond, NY; two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Kimberly and Rick DeVito, Rossie, NY, Tammy and Rick Liscum, Redwood, NY; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Shawn and Debbie Felder, Rochester, NY, Billy June, Rochester, NY; three nieces, Amanda Murray, Hammond, NY, Ashley Felder, Rochester, NY, Meghan Liscum, KY; five nephews, Ricky, Michael and Tony DeVito, all of Rossie, NY, Robbie June, Rochester, NY and Craig Liscum, Redwood, NY; several cousins.
His maternal grandparents, Frank and Verna Daniels passed away before him.
Calling hours will be 5-7 pm Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Frederick Bros. Funeral Home, Theresa, NY. A Celebration of Life service will be announced later this summer.
