Larry James Lacey, 68, of Snell Rd., died Saturday, October 21, 2017 at his home.
Born on October 5, 1949 in Gouverneur, NY, he was a son of Arthur and Genevieve McCready Lacey and he attended Indian River High School, Philadelphia, NY.
Larry married Renauda Randall of Watertown, NY on January 13, 1979 at the First Presbyterian Church, Watertown, NY.
He worked for Lux Construction, Ft. Drum, NY, for a time, was owner of Larry’s Auto, Great Bend, NY, for 6 years and was a diesel mechanic for Timmerman Farm, LaFargeville, NY.
Larry was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved his vegetable garden and enjoyed making small engine repairs for neighbors.
Survivors include his wife, Renauda; a sister, Victoria Lear, Watertown, NY; mother-in-law, Patsy Randall, Philadelphia, NY; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Shawn and Jeffrey Clement, Bloomville, NY; a niece, Jennifer Sibley and husband, Franklin, Jr., Calcium, NY; a nephew, Steven Clement and husband, Russell, Hobart, NY; three great nephews, Wyatt Sibley, Tyler Sibley and Donovan Clement.
His parents, a brother, Gary Lacey, two sisters, Jane Fuller and Linda Platt died previously.
Memorial Services will be 2 pm Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Frederick Bros. Funeral Home, Theresa, NY.
A Calling hour will be from 1-2 pm prior to the service.
Memorial donations may be made to the family in lieu of flowers.
