Jeanne Parker, 92, of Patricia Drive, formerly of Philadelphia, NY, passed away Thursday August 3, 2017 at Hospice of Jefferson County at Ellis Farm, Watertown, NY.
Born on August 16, 1924 in Watertown, NY, she was a daughter of Dr. William and Frances Holland Munro and graduated from Philadelphia High School in 1942.
Jeanne worked at the telephone company for several years and as a tech in radiology and mental health at Mercy Hospital and the Madonna Home, Watertown, NY for twenty years.
She was a member of the Eastern Star and the American Legion Auxiliary, both in Philadelphia, NY.
Jeanne enjoyed crossword puzzles, dining out, spending time at the cottage with friends, family and her grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters; Jeri Parker, Watertown, NY, Pati Parker and her companion, Jackie Boothe, Watertown, NY; three grandchildren, Kylie Parker, Amanda Zeigler and Tia Zeigler; three great-granddaughters, Hailei Longoria, Makaela Zeigler and Samantha Rich; one great-grandson, her pride and joy, Ryker Marsh; two nieces, Wendy Wright and Ellen Oberton, both of Rochester, NY; a nephew, Scott Wright and his wife Christine of Colorado; great nieces and nephews in Colorado.
A sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Oberton and a brother, Scott William Munro died before her.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be at Jeanne's cottage on Pillar Point at a later date.
